Get ready, Redcliffe – the rodeo is coming back town! The showpiece event of the Stampede Series, the Moreton Bay Rodeo rolls into Redcliffe Showgrounds on Saturday 2nd May, delivering a full evening of high-energy entertainment, world-class rodeo action, and country hospitality.
Watch Australia’s best cowboys and cowgirls go head-to-head in a jam-packed lineup of bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback and barrel racing, with thousands of dollars in prize money up for grabs. Whether you’re a diehard rodeo fan or just after a great day out, the action doesn’t stop at the arena — the entire site is buzzing. From the thundering hooves and dust of the main arena to Rodeo Runway, boot-scooting line dancing, kids’ activities, and a spread of food trucks and bars, there’s always something happening. Add in live DJs, dance performances, and a headline live band, and you’ve got a non-stop atmosphere from the moment you arrive to the final song.
The Moreton Bay Rodeo is the tenth event of the national Stampede Series, Australia’s largest rodeo circuit, and promises an unforgettable experience for the whole family. On Saturday night, gates open from 2pm with the rodeo action kicking off from around 4:30pm and running into the evening.

GETTING THERE
Attendees can access the Redcliffe Showgrounds via the Main Gate on Scarborough Road. This will be the main entrance for all attendee parking, taxi or rideshare drop off, as well as pedestrians walking to the event site.
- Rideshare/Taxi: Drop-off area outside the venue on Scarborough Road
- Parking: Available at the Redcliffe State High School. All vehicles must enter at Scarborough Rd where traffic marshals will direct traffic.
- Pedestrian Entry: Pedestrians are to enter the venue via the Main Gate
- Competitor Entry: Competitors are to enter the venue via Gate 2 Entry off Lamington Drive
