The Melbourne Rodeo continues the heart-pounding Stampede Series — Australia’s largest rodeo circuit, proudly presented in association with John Gill & Sons Rodeo and the APRA.
Gates open at 2:00pm, with the main rodeo action starting at 4:30pm. When the dust settles, stick around for an unforgettable after-party with CK & the 45’s keeping the energy high well into the night.
SEATING
Ringside seating: Guarantee your spot as close to the action as possible by upgrading your ticket.
Grandstand seating: Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
BYO chair: Due to limitations there is NO BYO SEATING at this event and you will not be allowed to bring chairs into the showgrounds. There will be floor level General Admission chairs available on a first-come. first-served basis.
Standing room: Perfect for those who like to roam and experience the rodeo from different angles.
GETTING THERE
Parking: Onsite parking is available for this event from Melbourne Showgrounds for $25.00 per vehicle, please enter via Gate 7 on Leonards Crescent.
Pedestrian Entry: Entry via Gate 1 on the corner of Union and Epsom Roads.
Train Entry: Trains will be running directly to Melbourne Showgrounds station for this event. More information will be available closer to the event.
Tram Entry: Tram No. 57 (Elizabeth Street City, to West Maribyrnong) stops at Melbourne Showgrounds (stop 33) on Epsom Road, across the road from Gate 1 of Melbourne Showgrounds.
Bus Entry: Bus No. 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) stops along Langs Road and Epsom Road. Bus No. 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) stops on the corner of Epsom and Ascot Vale Roads.
Competitor Entry: Entry via Gate 2 on Langs Road.
