The Hunter Valley Rodeo begins the second season of the heart-pounding Stampede SeriesAustralia’s largest rodeo circuit, proudly presented in association with John Gill & Sons Rodeo and the ABCRA.

Gates open at 4:00pm, with the main rodeo action starting at 6:30pm. When the dust settles, stick around for an unforgettable after-party with the band keeping the energy high well into the night.

SEATING

  • Ringside seating: Guarantee your spot as close to the action as possible by upgrading your ticket.

  • Grandstand seating: Available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • BYO chair area: A dedicated section for guests bringing their own chairs (capacity limited and fills quickly).

  • Standing room: Perfect for those who like to roam and experience the rodeo from different angles.

GETTING THERE

  • Rideshare/Taxi: Drop-off area along Blomfield Street

  • Train: Maitland is the closest train station for those taking the train, and a 20-minute walk to the Gate 3 entrance
  • Parking: Available onsite at Maitland Showgrounds ($15 donation per car to the ABCRA). All vehicles must enter at Gate 1 (Anzac St entrance)

  • Pedestrian Entry: Pedestrians are to enter the Showgrounds at Gate 3 (Wallace St entrance)

  • Competitor Entry: Competitors are to enter the Showgrounds at Gate 6, via Louth Park Road
